Partnerships Specialist, P-3

UNICEF is seeking a Partnerships Specialist to support its Nigeria Country Office’s strategic partnerships and resource mobilisation agenda.

The role will contribute to donor reporting, proposal development, partnership engagement, partner mapping, opportunity analysis and knowledge management.

Requirements

  • An advanced university degree in international relations, political science, communications, international development or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of progressively responsible professional experience in public affairs, programme management, resource mobilisation, external relations or a related area.
  • Experience in partnership development, donor engagement, resource mobilisation and stakeholder management.
  • Experience preparing written materials such as proposals, concept notes, briefing notes and partner communications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong partnership development and resource mobilisation knowledge.
  • Ability to identify opportunities and develop new approaches.
  • Fluency in English.

Desirable

  • Knowledge of another official UN language or a local language.
  • Experience working with senior management, programme teams and external partners.
  • Experience with a UN agency or international organisation.
  • Experience working in development, fragile or humanitarian contexts.
